
Meet the Committee

Chairperson
Melissa Durrant

Melissa and Neil Durrant live in Kuna, Idaho, with their 4 kids. They grow corn, wheat, dry beans, and sugar beets. Neil also works on his family’s farm and warehouse facility. Melissa is working towards a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. They have both been active in Farm Bureau from the county to national level and are grateful for opportunities and skills they have received from it.

District 1
Matt & Jessica Henderson
Matt & Jessica are the 5th generation farmers. They live and work on the family farm in Swan Lake, Idaho. They have a 100 cow/calf and 45 sow operation along with a butcher business to process their animals when they are market ready.

District 2
Ray & Lyndsi Searle
Ray and Lyndsi Searle live in Shelley, Idaho, with their three kids Jack, Oakli, and Karli. They farm grain and potatoes.

District 3
Mitchell & Sunny Searle
Mitchell and Sunny live in Burley, Idaho. Mitchell works with his family growing row crops and grains.
They also have a cow/calf beef herd. He has a bachelor's degree in Agronomy.
Sunny has a degree in Recreation Management. She runs a household of crazy kids. Children: Lydia, David, Dawson, and Natalie.

District 4
Sheryll Goeckner
Sheryll lives on a small farm in Emmett, Idaho, where she raises her children. Sheryll works off the farm as a cosmetologist, and coaches cheer at the high school. When she isn't working or running kids to their activities, she enjoys numerous outdoor activities.

District 5
Garrett Barnes
Garrett Barnes is a first generation operator in Moscow, Idaho. Garrett is from the Treasure Valley. After going to the University of Idaho he chose the Palouse to start his operation. Garrett has commercial cattle and raises and trains rope horses.

AFBF YF&R Committee
Kyle & Jessica Wade
Kyle and Jessica Wade live in Downey, Idaho. They have a custom grazing, feeding, and calving operation. Their little boy is seven years old and loves to help them on the ranch. Being in the outdoors is what they are all about! They love riding horses, roping, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and camping. They have been a part of Farm Bureau for 12 years and have loved every minute of it!
