Mild Winter, white xmas in doubt

Live cattle futures are mixed, with the front months steady to 32.5 cents lower and deferred contracts slightly higher. Feeder cattle futures are steady. The CME feeder cattle index is up 6 cents at $145.61. Wholesale beef prices are mixed. Choice boxes are down 98 cents, with the Select cutout value 12 cents higher.

Sugar opens at 12 cents per pound down two percentage points.

Milk opens at  $13.82 down 2 cents.
