Gem County Farm Bureau Banquet
About 90 people attended the Gem County Farm Bureau banquet on November 11 in Emmett at the Senior Center. Don Cutbirth and Duane & Emily Vickery were honored as "Gems" of Gem County. The annual award is given to senior retired members of Gem County agriculture for their contributions to the valley.
The Jensen twins were also in attendance. Ava and Capri are the 7-month old twin daughters of Braden and Shalissa Jensen. Born several weeks pre-mature, parents report that both babies are doing well. Braden works in the Idaho Farm Bureau state office in Boise as an energy and natural resource specialist.
