Animals Day in Meridian
MERIDIAN— Animal Days is kicked off at three different locations across Idaho this past week. The Big D Ranch hosted one of the events and thousands attended,
This is the first year in the Treasure Valley and despite challenging weather is termed a huge success. Other venues are The Burley Straw Maze and Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds.
Animal Days was a chance for kids to see, pet and hold baby and full-grown animals. There was also live educational demonstrations including sheep shearing, dog herding, horse shoeing and even wool spinning .
