SUNNYSLOPE--Cherry Hill Farm kicked off the 2020 season this past week with pruning operations. Farm Manager Sean Rowley brought in his first crew from Mexico and they're pruning the first peach orchard in frigid conditions. Rowley says the H2A program supplies needed workers, but at the same time the program's wage and benefit mandates are so expensive that the farm will have a hard time profiting.
