Bannock County Farm Bureau-FFA host annual Ag Day

Investigate Agriculture: The theme of the Bannock County FFA Ag Day

Inkom--Today was the final day of Bannock County Farm Bureau's Annual AG Days event at Guthrie Ranch in Inkom.

The event promotes agriculture and teaches kids how things they do on a daily basis relates to agriculture.

Kids were able to attend various educational stations in the Guthries indoor riding arena and were also able to rope, learn about buffalo and even fly fishing.

Fred Burmester, of Bannock County Farm Bureau  said that "Agriculture is critically important in Idaho, it's every aspect of our life and it's so important that we get the word out that agriculture is part of your life, it's part of what we do every day, and it's important to know that. That is just doesn't come from a store, it comes from one of our farms."

The event has ran for more than two decades and thousands of grade school and middle school students from Bannock County attend the event each year.
