IFBF Podcast: Spring wheat plantings up
According to the USDA, Spring wheat plantings are down 2 percent…But up 4 percent in Idaho.
I talked to Blaine Jacobsen of the Idaho Wheat Commission who says snowpack and good market conditions have farmers confident in wheat.
And nationally, USDA meteorologist, Brad Rippey, has this year's first look at spring wheat planting progress.
