Watch out for harvest trucks-Corn, beef market up
Live cattle futures are up triple-digit gains in most contracts this morning, following Friday’s friendly Cattle On Feed report. Feeder cattle futures are up $1 to $2.97 on the day. The CME feeder cattle index is up a penny. Wholesale boxed beef prices are higher. Choice boxes are up $1.35, with Select higher at $197.66.
The Idaho Hay prices are down Premium is going for $160.00 a ton. Good quality $140, lots of supply out there right now, but demand is still good.
