The Cattle market is trending up for the second straight day—
Live cattle futures started this morning up $1.17. Feeder cattle futures are up 80 cents to $1.05. The CME feeder cattle index is up 77 cents from yesterday at $142.55.

Corn futures settled the Wednesday session steady in most contracts ahead of Friday’s reports. July corn is opening at $3.52 that's up a half-cent. September corn is also trending upward at $3.61, that's up a half-cent.

Corn futures came back to close Turnaround Tuesday with 1 to 2 cent gains. Bargain buying helped to lift the market higher. July is at $3.52 and up 2 cents. September corn is 3.61 up 2 cents. So the corn market is looking good this morning!

Live cattle futures posted sharp losses on Monday, Feeder cattle futures were also sharply lower, down $3.15. The CME feeder cattle index is down 29 cents at $142.28 Choice boxes are up 53 cents to $217.69, with Select boxes 13 cents lower.
