John and Caroline Andersen and their four children (7, 5, 3, 1) live in Jerome, where John is the manager of Double A Dairy, which milks 13,000 cows. He is also a partner in Triple Crown Genetics, a genetic business that breeds and markets elite Holstein cows, bulls and embryos.
Growing up on a 500-cow dairy, “I gained an appreciation and interest in the Holstein cow and always strived to improve the genetics of our herd,” John says. John graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a minor in business, while Caroline graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in health promotions.
Caroline stays busy with their children, “who enjoy dancing, performing, boating, playing ball and helping with the calves.” She also is active in the community and is the high school cheerleading coach.
