Austin and Maysi Tubbs of Malad have three sons (6, 4, 2) “who love to ranch with us on the Triple T Ranch.” They live and run a cow-calf operation on the ranch with Austin’s father. They also raise alfalfa, meadow hay, oats, and wheat for the cattle.

They usually sell half their calf crop in the fall and the rest in the spring. “We love the ranch and find the great opportunity to raise our family on a ranch a blessing,” they write in their application.

Both Tubbs grew up around farming and ranching. Austin worked on the farm and ranch with his dad since he could walk. He came back to the ranch after earning his bachelor’s degree in agriculture, and obtaining some management experience at a feed plant. Maysi’s family runs a small calf operation and raises performance horses. She is pursuing a degree in elementary special education.
