Television Programs
of the Idaho Farm Bureau
The Idaho Farm Bureau's TV news department
covers stories about agricultural, environmental and resource
issues. The stories are covered objectively and give producers
an opportunity to present their side on an issue.
Stories include how natural resources affect
the economy and employment, how we manage and protect them
for future generations, how we use them for recreation,
how government involvement can sometimes be helpful... sometimes
harmful, how many industries in Idaho benefit greatly from
Idaho's vast supply of natural resources, and how western
lifestyles tie directly to what we call natural resources.
Other areas of coverage include the state
legislature, serious social problems, natural disasters,
profiles of important people, major statewide economic news,
and agricultural news.
The Idaho Farm Bureau's TV news department
also does contract video production for other organizations.
The Idaho Farm Bureau News team enjoys a
valuable partnership with four of the leading television
news departments in the state. Farm Bureau news segments
are seen twice weekly on our member stations with a strong,
statewide coverage.
The Idaho Farm Bureau Federation appreciates
the committment to agriculture and natural resource news
demonstrated by these partners in broadcasting.
